Dear Friend,

I love the sound of socks on carpet, 

the smile you get back from a stranger when you smile unexpectedly at them, obsessively learning, the fresh smell of cafe bustelo in the morning, meeting like-minded individuals at community gatherings, the greeting of my pup’s “wiggle-butt” when I get back home, the new taste of a local beer when traveling, opening and using art materials for the first time, the energy that makes you wanna dance from music, the great find of a video game (or show) you can’t put down, visiting cities’ art museums, catching up with old friends on FaceTime, making my mother and brother laugh… but most of all, I love quenching my soul.
